Design partnership

Advalight, a leading developer of medical yellow solid-state lasers, today announced that the company has signed
a collaboration contract with the Danish design company Format ApS. Advalight has in a previous project worked
together with Format and it is mainly due to the results from this collaboration that Advalight with great delight
has chosen Format.
The main task for Format is to create a visual and functional well designed laser cabinet that go hand in hand with
our scanner and handpiece. Ergonomically issues are of huge importance for Advalight as well as a beautiful and functional
design with new state-of-the-art features never seen in the industry.
“Our previous project showed that Format contains a great understanding for design based on customer input, not only
the visual part but also the functionality and especially the ergonomic aspects of the design. This was one of the major
reasons for chosen a further collaboration” says VP Marketing, Mads Bang Jensen.
“Also, Format has specialized in the design of mechanical and electrical devices, which fit our needs perfectly”,
Mads elaborates.
