Yellow light is known for its extraordinary results in the treatment of vascular lesions. The superior results from unstable, bulky and expensive technologies such as
Pulsed Dye Lasers (PDL) and copper vapour lasers speak for themselves. Advalight has with similar great results conducted its first case-study treatments.
Before/after pictures can be seen below.

Further clinical trials
In the spring of 2010 Advalight lent its equipment to Roskilde University Hospital for testing. The laser was used to treat approximately 20 patients with vascular procedures.
The treatments were performed be Consultant Tomas Norman Dam, MD, PhD.
Tomas Dam states:
"The vascular laser seems very promising for more efficient treatment of port-wine stains
that would normally require many treatments with IPL or KTP."
"I would not be able to treat vessels in the nasal fold efficiently with my IPL or KTP laser due to the large spot sizes.
But with this vascular laser I can access and clear these vessels very easily."
"I too used to prefer a large spot size to be able to clear telangiectasias fast. However, the pin-point
precision achieved with the vascular laser means I can close the individual vessels with high accuracy.
This not only gives less collateral tissue damage - I see notably less oedema of the surrounding tissue - but also saves time as the patient can
do with fewer sessions due to the high efficiency of the device."
