The Business Innovation Fund supports Advalight

Advalight, a leading developer of yellow solid-state lasers for dermatology, today announced that company has
been appointed as a supporting project by The Business Innovation Fund (Fornyelsesfonden). Advalight is appointed
in the category “welfare market maturation”. The amount granted is 2.4 mill. DKK (425.000 US$) for the period of
December 2011 to December 2013.
“Advalight is very proud that The Business Innovation Fund has chosen to support us with the grant. Only six
companies out of approximately 65 applicants got supported and Advalight scored maximum points in both the Fund’s
business and clinical evaluation.” states Thomas R. Lund, CEO of Advalight. “The grant is earmarked for building
additional prototypes to be tested by key opinion leader’s worldwide.” he further elaborates.
